Addictive TV are renowned remixer and mash-up DJ Mark Vidler (aka GHP – who’s produced and remixed for David Bowie, Kasabian, Bob Dylan, Alicia Keys and others) and producer/director Graham Daniels (who’s directed work for Channel 4, Paramount, 20th Century Fox, Universal amongst others). Addictive TV have twice won best visual act in the world in DJ Magazine’s annual poll and their fully audiovisual live set is 60 or 90 minutes and comprises intricate musical cut-ups of movies and innovative video remixes and mash-ups.
Briefly, Addictive TV have played in over 50 countries worldwide, headlining in settings as diverse as the Pompidou Centre in Paris, London’s National Theatre and Shanghai’s Museum of Contemporary Art, through to music festivals like Skol Beats in Brazil, Glastonbury in the UK, Roskilde in Denmark, Sziget in Hungary and Exit in Serbia. They’ve opened SXSW Music in Texas supporting Moby and this year performed the opening concert for the Cultural Olympiad at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.
Club-wise, internationally, they’ve played venues like Razzmatazz in Barcelona, Paradiso in Amsterdam, Brancaleone in Rome, Mighty in San Francisco, Club Centro in Jakarta and at Womb in Tokyo.
